Annual Meeting

2017 Membership Meeting & Annual Awards

The Delaware County Transportation Management Association hosted its Annual Awards and Membership Meeting Thursday, May 25th at Drexelbrook Corporate Events Center in Drexel Hill.

During the luncheon, DCTMA presented awards to members who consistently go above and beyond to support its mission of promoting alternative transportation options.

Congratulations to the 2017 award recipients:

Boeing – Chairman’s Award

Philadelphia International Airport – Green Award

Steve Cunningham, Jacobs Engineering – John Pickett Award

District Attorney Jack Whelan – Transportation Advocate Award

DCTMA welcomed Emmy Award-winning Traffic Authority, Bob Kelly, of FOX29’s “Good Day Philadelphia.” The always-animated and amusing Kelly shared his experience in the radio and television business, and how he broke into the traffic reporting industry. He noted that as a born-and-raised Philadelphian, he’s grateful to have studied in the region, and grown his broadcast career in his hometown as well. And of course, the day isn’t complete with Kelly’s signature “Two-Jelly Donut Delay,” so in the spirit, DCTMA served the sweet confection for dessert.
