2011 Access to Jobs Expo –Thursday, October 13th at the Springfield Country Club

Presented by the Delaware County Transportation Management Association in conjunction with Delaware County Council, the Delaware County Commerce Center, Pennsylvania CareerLink, and the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, the EXPO is an annual event that brings local organizations together with qualified job-seekers from Delaware County and the surrounding areas.

Those looking for employment or looking to make a change should plan to attend the 2011 Access to Jobs EXPO on Thursday, October 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Springfield Country Club, located on West Sproul Road in Springfield.

This event offers a great local venue for job seekers to meet with representatives from businesses and educational facilities in the Delaware County and the surrounding Greater Philadelphia area. The Delaware County Transportation Management Association’s 17th annual Access to Jobs EXPO is also presented by Delaware County Council, Pennsylvania CareerLink, the Delaware County Commerce Center and the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce. This year’s sponsors include Delaware County Community College, Fair Acres Geriatric Center, SEPTA, Goodwill Industries of Delaware and Delaware County, Inc. and Harrah’s Chester Casino & Racetrack.

Job seekers will have the opportunity to speak face to face with recruiters and human resource representatives from various industries, including financial services, senior care facilities, insurance, health care companies, staffing agencies, transportation agencies, and many more.

The DCTMA will provide free round-trip transportation to the Access to Jobs EXPO for residents of the Chester area. Shuttles will run from Chester Community Hospital and the Chester Transportation Center to the Springfield Country. To reserve a seat on the shuttle, contact the DCTMA at 610-892-9440. Applicants may also take SEPTA’s Route 110 bus to the Springfield Country Club from Upper Darby’s 69th Street area.
