PennDOT’s massive, multi-phase reconstruction and revival project along the heavily-traveled I-95 is well underway, and commuters are feeling its major effects.
The “95 Revive” plan, set for completion in 2023, is affecting traffic in many communities across the Greater Philadelphia region. While the work has yet to begin in Delaware County, DCTMA has been working closely with PennDOT, Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC), and SEPTA to keep commuters updated with the latest information.

Family Fun Night
Everyone had a blast at our Family Fun Night, held at the new Crozer-Keystone facility in Broomall Wednesday, September 28th. The free event was open to all staff, patients, and community members alike.
DCTMA’s goal is to continually provide commuters with the latest on PennDOT’s major I-95 construction project, and to suggest alternative transportation options. DCTMA suggests commuters consider taking public transit, telecommuting, ride-sharing, or biking to work, to name a few.
Attendees picked up valuable information and free giveaways from our I-95 project partners, including PennDOT, SEPTA, and Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC.) Plus, Marple Township Police Department handed out safety information for all ages. The kids loved the police badge stickers!
Everyone enjoyed the free Italian water ice and soft pretzels provided by DCMTA, as well as the face painting!
Crozer offered information on the new facility, and highlighted the Oncology and Laboratory Services Departments.
Tuesday, June 28th, DCTMA hosted an Information Breakfast at the Clarion Hotel in Essington. Our member companies and other business owners and leaders along the I-95 corridor gathered for the event. Featured speakers included Elaine Elbich, P.E., Design Portfolio Manager for PennDOT; Stacy Bartels, Marketing Manager, DVRPC; Erin Burke, Associate Marketing Manager, DVRPC; Jen Scimone, Sr. Sales Development Specialist, SEPTA; and DCTMA Executive Director Cecile Charlton. The panel offered a project update and timeline, as well as various commuting alternatives for employers and their employees.
