Bike to Work Day 2026

We want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who ditched the car, hopped on a bike, and joined us to celebrate sustainable transportation at Bike to Work Day on Friday, 5/15. Your energy and enthusiasm made the event a huge success!

A special shoutout and thank you to our incredible event sponsor, Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union, for their support in making this day possible. We also appreciate all of our regional partners who came out to support the ride and help promote a greener commute.

Bike to Work Day 2025

Thank you to everyone who attended our Bike to Work Day event on May 16th, 2025! Thank you to members of Bike Delco and The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia who hosted the guided ride tour in and around Media.

Thank you to those who attended our Bike to Work Day event on Friday, May 17, 2024! SEPTA provided a bus for a bike mounting presentation and the Philadelphia Bicycle Coalition provided a guided ride tour through Newtown Township. Thank you to Crozer Health for sponsoring this event.

 

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Bike to Work Day event in Lansdowne on Friday, May 19th! Our guests included representatives from Delaware County Planning Department, DVRPC and Drexel Hill Cycle with an E-bike demonstration. The Bicycle Coalition provided a guided ride tour of the new bike lane route through Lansdowne, and SEPTA provided a bus for bike mounting instruction. Thank you to the Borough of Lansdowne for hosting DCTMA.

 

2022 Bike To Work Day Event

DCTMA HOSTS COUNTY BIKE TO WORK EVENT FEATURING PROTECTED BIKE LANE DISPLAY

The Delaware County Transportation Management Association hosted a Bike to Work event on Friday, May 20 in conjunction with the National Bike to Work event celebrated in May each year.

The annual educational component featured a pop-up display of a Protected Bike Lane, the subject of HB 140 which is up for vote in PA Senate. Speakers included State Sen. Tim Kearney, D-26 a member of the Senate Transportation Committee and a supporter of the legislation. Also in attendance were Delaware County Council members Elaine Schaefer and Christine Reuther as well as PennDOT District 6 Safety Press Officer Krys Johnson sharing support for the initiative.
